Review by hotel critic
Pousada Doce Abiu offers an intriguing blend of luxury and value, located amidst the natural beauty that our island escapes cherish. My visit highlighted several noteworthy amenities. The outdoor swimming pool, framed by sun loungers, invites relaxation, while the bar/lounge area provides a comfortable spot to unwind after the day's activities. Housekeeping ensures consistent cleanliness, an essential touch for any luxury stay. The absence of complimentary airport shuttle service could be a consideration for budget-conscious travelers, with paid options available instead. The free Wi-Fi in rooms is handy for planning excursions, reflecting the hotel's attention to modern guest needs. In essence, Pousada Doce Abiu makes for a worthwhile choice, balancing elegance and comfort with a prudent price tag that aligns with the expectations of travelers seeking a blend of luxury without compromising on value. As a travel consultant from the Maldives, I appreciate how this hotel embodies a considerate travel philosophy.
